Back paws will be down, bottom will touch the ground, front paws propped up.
All 4 paws will touch the ground.
Belly will be touching ground, back legs tucked under, front paws stretched out (you may have to assist by pulling front paws forward.)
Run the leash under the front paws, stand up straight, and pull upwards gently. Your pet should flip over.
You want your ESSA to sort of bounce when you walk them, DON'T DRAG.
Like walk, but with more of a small jump in between each step.
If your pet turns to the side (gets distracted) you should stop walking, and redirect the leash direction. Make sure the leash isn't twisted.
Spin from in front of you until they are against your right heel.
Spin from center until they hit your left heel.
Spin to between your feet.
Teach stay while they're on the leash. Do not drop the leash until they are certain to stay on command. To relieve them from Stay, say "Relax" and pet them twice.
Place pet in one spot, remember where you're standing.
Step forward, move pet closer to you.
Step back to where you were. Repeat process. This is called stop motion. Only works with filming. If you want them to respond to "come" while they're on the leash, face them towards you and have them walk to you.
Get an elastic and put it on mouth and behind ears, feed toy or object into it.
Good to know on outings or emergencies. Lift leash straight up when they are beside you. Catch on underbelly.
Gather leash, give some leeway. Lower pet down.
Slightly bounce pet on leash while in middle, make them bark or growl, don't do this to people in public for your own sanity. If filming, a sound effect can be added. To take them out of Protect, pet twice and say "Relax," or "Relax, Good Job."
Use wait before feedings to teach obedience and patience. Use wait in place of stay.
Used in real life training instances. This is the magic word used to tell a dog or pet to attack. Use only in the right circumstances. Start with "middle" or "wait".
Often in reality, handlers will lie about their pets name to strangers in order to ensure their pet only responds to its name when a handler uses it. For example my dog's name is Oreo, I would give the person asking his name a fake name.
